MINOT, N.D. • Minot State University will welcome alumnus Scott Bintz, e-commerce entrepreneur, author and founder of RealTruck.com, to speak at the school this Thursday, Nov. 19.

Bintz, a 1993 MSU graduate with a degree in economics, founded RealTruck.com in the basement of a duplex in 1998, growing the company to a $100 million E-commerce super store. He will address MSU’s College of Business classes, the Severson Entrepreneurship Academy, and the University on work culture, e-commerce, and killing the status quo at 1 p.m. at the MSU Student Center on the third floor of the Conference Center. Seating is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions for gatherings.

“Scott has a story that reaches everyone, and his down-to-earth personality makes him extremely relatable in business and in life," said Tawnya Bernsdorf, Minot State assistant professor of business administration.

Along with RealTruck.com, Bintz authored the book “Principles to Fortune.” He also created the Red Headed Rebel brand, which advises manufactures on E-commerce and has several divisions including RH Rebel, a property development company, and RH Rebel Storage, state-of-the-art self-storage facilities. In the E-commerce sector, he has created RHRSwag.com, a race part manufacturer, and Red Headed Rebel Brew, coffee for entrepreneurs, rebels, and rule breakers.
