Job Service North Dakota plans job fair in Fargo

The three-hour job fair is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Delta Hotel.

FARGO, N.D. • Job seekers will have the chance to distribute their resumes, learn about companies, and interview with potential employers at an upcoming job fair in Fargo.

More than 50 employers from a variety of different industries will be at the Fall Job Fair, scheduled from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Delta Hotel, 1635 42nd St. South in Fargo. The event is sponsored by Job Service North Dakota, Midwest Radio Fargo Moorhead, JobsHQ, WDAY-TV and Rural Minnesota CEP.

Employers are hiring for positions in the Fargo area and across North Dakota.

The latest Online Job Openings Report, published Sept. 7, says there are 18,280 online job postings statewide. Cass County reported the largest over-the-year increase in job openings with a change of +117.

According to Job Service, attendees looking for work should dress to impress and bring copies of their resume to distribute. (Those who need help preparing a resume can stop by the Fargo Workforce Center, 1350 32nd St., Monday-Friday prior to the job fair.) They also should be prepared to interview at the event.


The job fair is free and open to the public.
