FARGO, N.D. • To help farmers navigate the drought and manage their irrigation, North Dakota State University Extension has partnered with the North Dakota Irrigation Association to hold an irrigation workshop in early December.
The event is planned for Thursday, Dec. 9, in the Grand Pacific Room at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.
According to the Extension office, presentations will focus on how to deal with the drought. At the same time, there also will be an opportunity for irrigation suppliers to display their products and services.
Registration, which costs $50 and is payable at the door and includes lunch, will start at 7:30 a.m. with workshop presentations beginning at 8:30 a.m.
