Vern Dosch, former president and CEO of the NISC, will be inducted into the Cooperative Hall of Fame at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. this evening, Oct. 7.

The induction is the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. cooperative community.

“Vern’s profound commitment to Cooperative Principles runs through his character, his business dealings and his approach to life,” NISC President and CEO Dan Wilbanks said in a statement.

“Throughout his career Vern demonstrated servant leadership, vision and heartfelt belief in collaborative decision-making, and NISC is honored to support Vern’s induction into the Cooperative Hall of Fame.”

The induction will take place at 7 p.m. EDT.
