Kraus-Anderson has completed Conifer Villas, a $7 million, 32-unit supportive housing project in Bemidji, Minn.

Developed by the Headwaters Housing Development Corporation and designed by Lucachick Architecture, the 39,000-square-foot affordable housing townhome community, located on Itasca Loop NW, features one-, two- and three-bedroom units and a separate community meeting space.

Conifer Villas, a provider of housing to those who have been homeless or who have needed special support, also offers services to help its residents live with more stability.

The four 8-unit buildings were constructed to Minnesota Housing requirements, including Energy Star certification. According to the company, 50% of the units were turned over for occupancy one month early.
