Mantorville, Minn., has long had a reputation of being one of the most haunted towns in the state, headlined by reported paranormal activity at the Mantorville Opera House, the Restoration House and other locations. But the town isn't the only one in southeast Minnesota with reported ghosts.
A Paycheck Protection Program loan to support an “Orange Grove” in Mantorville, Minn., has become a prime example of unidentified groups or entities using fake farms and other businesses to collect on hundreds of small loans. A Minnesota woman's name and address were used without her knowledge for the loan.
SEMCAC has helped with housing arrangements, and a pair of GoFundMe pages are helping raise money for financial needs stemming from the apartment fire.
Others taken to hospital for smoke inhalation, with at least one individual in serious condition.
