It’s disturbing how many elected leaders in the state have come out against this order. Some are sheriffs, state legislators or city commissioners. With that in mind, it is time to recognize the first class of North Dakota’s COVID-19 Hall of Shame.
The pandemic has been with us for months. It's less an emergency than a status quo. Our governing bodies like city commissions and legislatures have taken steps so that they can meet and do their jobs safely. It's time we put the emergency powers back in the box.
