The weekend is at hand with the children of Grand Forks roaming around through the leaves. The Grand Forks school calendar says no classes Thursday or Friday because of NDU Instructional Conference.
Most of the time, Grand Forks County Historical Society Guild members work quietly in their craft room at the Myra Museum. Every Wednesday morning, they visit and work on scarves, jewelry, metal trees and wreaths. This year they are holding their craft and bake sale early – between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. this Saturday.
Their profits help the Grand Forks Historical Society preserve the history of this county as time marches on.
