Letter: Theater of the absurd; dark days ahead

Many people think the 2022 election is an opportunity for change. They had better take advantage of it.

Nothing better than a warm day, a cool breeze, shade and a friend. Mark Twain said that happiness and sanity are an impossible combination. No, not impossible; extremely difficult.

If people believe the 2020 election was stolen, they have not seen anything yet. It’s not just the count. It’s the disinformation (lies, damn lies and statistics) that lead to it. Follow your instincts. If it doesn’t feel right, it could be because it isn’t.

Many people think the 2022 election is an opportunity for change. They had better take advantage of it. So much at stake. Nothing will surprise me.

Why care? Why not? It’s the right thing to do.

Happy trails.
