I have been reading Chuck Haga for many years now. His recent column (Feb. 27) of the grandfather (and grandmother) brought tears to my eyes. I, too, am a grandfather. Everything Mr. Haga included in his column touched my heart. Thank you, Chuck.
I also am grateful for the opportunity to read Mike Jacobs. Without his “moderate” views of our midwest conservative politics, sometimes each day would be much darker. Mr. Jacobs has even got me feeding and watching the birds.
I should also mention that reading Mr. Jack Hagerty years past and currently Marilyn Hagerty were columns I looked forward to. I must also mention Lloyd Omdahl . I worked with a young man (years ago) that graduated from UND, and he said his favorite class was Mr. Omdahl’s.
Keep these people writing columns as long as possible. Thank you all.
