Letter: Grand Forks must pull out of the planned Fufeng deal now

What makes the City Council think that Fufeng, a communist Chinese company, will live up to any commitments it makes?

Letter to the editor FSA

Well, there you go, Grand Forks City Council. The world has one communist dictator, Russia's Putin, invading a peaceful democratic country, the Ukraine. Death and destruction are ongoing.

Putin the Russian communist is being supported by another communist dictator, Xi Jinping, a communist Chinese.

The Chinese communists are buying billions of dollars of oil and coal from Russia. This money is helping Putin finance the unlawful invasion of Ukraine.

How long will it be before the communist Chinese invade Taiwan, using the same lame excuse the Russians are using for their invasion of Ukraine? Given the feckless leadership this country has currently, my guess is not very long.

I do not care what kind of communist they are, Russian, Chinese, Korean or Cuban, communists are not good people and cannot be trusted.

These trade commitments deal with the amount of U.S. goods, services and energy products the communist Chinese were to buy.

What makes the City Council think that Fufeng, a communist Chinese company, will live up to any commitments it makes?

The City Council needs to pull their collective heads out of the sand and kill the Fufeng project now.
