The Grand Forks City Council is a disgrace. I read in the Grand Forks Herald that Marvin Windows just opened two new large operations in Fargo. Why in the world was the council not chasing them to give them all the tax breaks that they want to give to the Chinese? They obviously don't have anyone on the council who has any business sense! Maybe it's because too many on the council already have ties with the Chinese.
Did anyone ever think about offering that same space to an American company like Costco? I will bet everyone in Grand Forks and all the way to Canada the people would be jumping for joy to have a Costco in town. They are one of the top five companies in the U.S., and they hire an amazing amount of people, and they pay them the highest wages around.
Wake up and do the right thing so we don't have to worry about this anymore. We have enough stress in the world!
