Letter: Sacrifice comes in all shapes, sizes
To the editor,
Last Tuesday was the anniversary of 9/11, the day the the Twin Towers were hit by planes that were hijacked. Many people—such as firefighters, policemen and even regular pedestrians—put themselves in danger to save others, and sadly, even with all this help, many didn't survive.
It took great sacrifice and courage. Sacrifice is something that is important to you, that you are willing to lose if it means helping out others. Whether it's moving away from a home you once loved, or spending time helping your sister do her homework when you could be on your phone, or even in this case risking your life to try to save others, sacrifice comes in all shapes and sizes.
