We need a governor who can walk the walk. We have candidates who certainly are great at talking the talk, but that is not what our state needs. We need a governor who stands up, consistently, for his convictions and his state.
North Dakota needs a leader who recognizes the challenges faced by our great state and is not afraid to tackle them head on. We need a leader who is solution oriented. Doug Burgum is that leader.
Burgum recognizes, and more important, acknowledges the need for responsible budgeting. Meanwhile, his opponent has defended the explosion in government spending that has occurred over the past decade. Burgum has the ability to articulate and implement the conservative message of free enterprise and the limited role of government.
Further, Burgum's message is clear: the government is supposed to work for its people, responsibly, and with the best outcome in mind. Burgum is our leader. His opponent relies on others to defend his actions and attack Burgum. I want a leader who is not afraid to articulate his beliefs and then stand up for them. When Burgum speaks, he isn't just reiterating the same popular talking points that we hear from politicians every four years. He speaks from personal experience and success and with conviction.
Burgum is a leader who has built successful companies, transformed a community and made incredible impacts through philanthropic endeavors in North Dakota. Burgum walks the walk. We need him in Bismarck.
