To the editor,
Eliot Glassheim's letter to the Herald (Jan. 6: " Democrats should propose more for real border security ") regarding border security is the most comprehensive, thoughtful and practical suggestion for resolving this issue that has been made, in my opinion.
It covers all sides of the issue, including money to help solve the problem at its source, in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. I hope he has sent it to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for their immediate consideration. Well done, Eliot.
