I was honored on behalf of the city of East Grand Forks to speak at Mike Mayor Mike Brown's State of the City address. The invitation was extended to our council president, who had to decline because of a previous commitment.
I spoke of the growing partnership between our cities and how the recent agreement on wastewater treatment is the latest example. I'd like to make it clear that our city's participation should not be seen as an endorsement of any candidate in the upcoming election. Whoever the people of Grand Forks choose as their mayor, they will have strong partner with the overwhelming majority of the elected officials in East Grand Forks.
