GRAND FORKS — They are busiest at lunch time. The Ground Round restaurant has doors open to all dining areas. The restaurant has seating available in the lounge, the patio and the back room.
There is space for parking all around the restaurant.
With my daughter, GH (Gail Hagerty), I found a pleasant place for visiting near the north side of the large restaurant. She ordered and enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, which is a chicken, melted cheese, bacon, sour cream and salsa ($14.99). All of which led me to my lunch choice. For the same price, my club house was a good sandwich. Perhaps enough to last another day with its ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss and cheddar cheese. It also had lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise – all on a sour dough bun ($13.79).
The seating was pleasant along a north side window in the lounge. Service was good, and our server was unobtrusive.
We were able to visit and look around. The large parking area all around is a plus for the Ground Round.
