ERSKINE, Minn. - Violet Joppru, 87, Thief River Falls, Minn., died Tuesday, Dec. 24, in Pioneer Memorial Care Center.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 3, at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. The Rev. Ale Tulu will officiate. Burial will be in Satersdal Cemetery in Excel Township, Minn.
