Marc Peterson

Marc Alan Peterson, 61, was born in Grand Forks, ND on September 18, 1958 & died suddenly of a heart attack on Nov 27, 2019. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Vernon “Skip” & Lois (Cresien) Peterson. Marc was raised in East Grand Forks, MN & graduated from EGF Senior High School in 1977. After serving 3 yrs in the Army Reserve he attended NW Technical College. As a Medical Lab Technician, he was employed with Sanford Health Hillsboro for 27 years where he formed many fond friendships. His relationship with God & his church family played an important part of his life as did his fiance, Ana. His retirement plans were to join her in the Philippines in the house they built & be married. Marc enjoyed photography throughout his life, his warm smile & hardy laugh will be missed. Survived by 2 sisters, Nancy (Norm) Swenson, Mankato MN & Laurie Peterson, Minneapolis MN, 1 niece & 1 nephew.

A celebration of Marc’s life will be held Sat, Dec 14 at 11:00 at his church, Living Waters Fellowship, 217 US-75, Nielsville MN 56568.
