Harry R. Czapiewski, 99, of Oslo, ND passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta, ND.

Harry Raphael Czapiewski was born on December 28, 1920 in Walshville Township in Walsh County North Dakota. He was the son of Alozi and Stella (Riske) Czapiewski. He was raised and educated in Walshville Township. Upon the completion of his education, he farmed with his brothers, Florian and Ernest. Harry married Margaret Paschke on November 25, 1961 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw, ND. Harry farmed until his retirement in 1985. However, Harry continued with farm work well into his 90’s, helping his sons on the farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening even after retirement. On November 25, 2020, Harry and Margaret would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Audrey (John) Saunders, Brooklyn Park, MN; his sons, Lee (Sheila) Czapiewski, Oslo, MN, Michael (Jennifer Lunde) Czapiewski, Grand Forks, ND, Larry (Kelly McGlynn) Czapiewski, Oslo, MN and granddaughters, Leann, Jamie and Sara.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Helen Slominski and Adeline Nagle; his brothers, Florian, Alexander, Hilary, Ernest, Leon and an infant brother, Julian.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2020 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Warsaw, ND.

Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.

Burial: St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Warsaw, ND.
