Erika Leiblich 1928-2020

It is with sadness and fond memories, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandma (Oma) Erika Leiblich on May 15, 2020. Both her daughter and grandson were able to be with her during her final hours. Left to treasure her memory are her children Sylvia and John, grandson Kurt (Alisha), great grandchildren Logan and Finn and other family and friends.

A devout catholic and proud American, Erika e njoyed travelling, singing in the German Society choir, attending church and spending time with her family. Even over her final days, she was especially fond of her great grandchildren. Erika’s strength, courage and conviction has been evident throughout her life.

Winnipeg funeral arrangements will be made at a later date. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Valley Elder Care and Nancy Hall. In lieu of flowers, please make a corresponding donation to Valley Elder Care in Grand Forks, ND, or a charity of your choosing.
