David Dohn, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. David adored his family, spoiling grandchildren, hunting and fishing with family and his dog Windsor. He put a smile on everyone’s face with his humor and charm. David was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend.

In 1953, David was born in Eureka, SD, to parents Walter and Martha Dohn. David graduated from Eureka High School, where he met the love of his life, Peggy Albrecht. He attended Lake Area Vocational School and graduated as a dental lab technician. Before owning and operating Valley Dental Lab in Grand Forks, ND, for 35 years, he and Peggy partnered with Peggy’s parents in the Coast-to-Coast store in Eureka for several years. David sold Valley Dental Lab in 2016 and retired to Elk River, MN in 2019.

David is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Peggy; daughters, Danielle (Michael) Knutt, Nicole (Pete) Carlson, Rachelle (Rob) Hunt, and Lindsey (Ricky) Hages; eight grandchildren; sister, Cindy (Kim) Miller; brother, Tim Dohn; and two sisters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.
