They were blessed with two children: Robbi Rae and Bradley Charles. For over 30 years, Bob was the owner/operator of Valley Vending, servicing many motels, businesses, and industries in the Grand Forks area.

Bob had many adventures throughout his life. In the 1960s, he raced super modified stock cars at the Grand Forks Speedway on Friday nights. In the 1970s and 80s he became involved in Trapshooting and won numerous awards in Minnesota, North Dakota and Canada. Bob’s great love beyond his family was hunting and fishing. He was fortunate to go on many fishing and hunting trips with good friends and family. Since 1962, he has fished Lake of the Woods every summer.
