A Funeral Service for Austin D. Dejno of Drayton, ND formerly of Warroad, MN will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5-7 PM with a time for sharing at 7PM for those who wish to stay at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment will be held at Spruce Cemetery in Roseau, MN.

Austin passed away on December 6, 2019 at the age of 25.

Austin Darin Dejno was born on February 4, 1994, in Crookston, MN to Robert and Tammy (Cass) Dejno. He grew up in Warroad, MN and graduated from Warroad High School in 2012. After high school he worked at Marvin Windows. He moved to Grand Forks, ND and worked for J.R. Simplot Company and Steffes Corporation. He recently moved to Drayton, ND, started his own millwright construction company and bought a house with his beautiful fiancé, Emily Kutcka.

Austin enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, brother, sister, brother-in-law, fiancé, cousins, and friends. He was a family man. He worked hard to provide for his family and was so proud of his daughter, Olivia and son, Colt. He had an infectious smile and sense of humor. He made every occasion he was at better just by being there. He brought joy to everyone.

Austin is survived by his parents Tammy Dejno of Warroad and Rob Dejno of Warroad; two beautiful children Colt and Olivia Dejno; fiancé Emily Kutcka of Drayton; siblings, Haley (Jake) Gabrick, Nick Dejno, Brianna Breiland, Madi Davis, Meah Klipping , Kevin Jensen; grandparents, Jim and Luella Cass of Warroad; grandpa, Art Klipping of Red Lake Falls, MN; uncle, Ryan Cass of Lake Park, MN; aunt, Sheri (Dean) Rourk of Warroad; Joey and Tanya Klipping of St. Hilaire, MN; three nieces Payten, Everly and Brooklynn; and many cousins, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Cis Klipping; grandpa, Gene Dejno; uncle, Gary Pahlen; great grandma, Bonnie Sharp; great grandma and grandpa Cass; great grandma and grandpa Pahlen; and uncle, Darin Klipping.
