Allan J. Nesland, 92, of Long Beach, Calif. passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. Allan was born to Gertie and Bennie Nesland March 6, 1929 in Thompson, ND. On March 27, 1953 Allan and Gladys “Lorraine” Anderson were married in Long Beach, Calif. Allan retired from the US Postal service as the Director of Customer Service, Long Beach Branch, in 1986. Allan was preceded in death by his parents, brother Odean, sister Mildred Amundson, brother-in-law Therrin Amundson and Lorraine who passed away in 2013. Graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, Calif., on Thursday, August 19.
