Raub, Harold Anthony “Tony”, age 98, of Apple Valley passed away peacefully at home on June 15. Tony was a Staff Sergeant in WWII who flew 52 missions in a B-26 Marauder as a tail gunner. He worked for the Great Lakes Pipeline, later called the Williams Brothers Pipeline, for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Anne; his beloved son, Dick; his parents; two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by daughters, Rosie O’Brien, Cathy (Larry) Lande, Patti (Mike) Hecht; son, Mike (Linda) Raub; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brother, Bill (Mary) Raub; brother-in-law, George Holck and many nieces and nephews. He spread love and gratitude wherever he went and was always kind and thoughtful of others. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends at the Apple Valley Villa. Celebration of Tony’s life will take place on Friday, July 26, 11:00 am at St. Michael’s Church, Farmington, MN with a gathering of family and friends at 10:00 am. Memorials preferred to the family to be used for a memoriam at the Apple Valley Villa in honor of Tony.
