  • April 3: Guided pasque flower hike, 10:30 a.m., Fertile Sand Hills, Fertile, Minn. From Fertile, take Minnesota Highway 32 through town and turn west onto Summit Avenue just south of the Fertile downtown area. Go west past the Agassiz Environmental Learning Center Nature Center to the parking area and trailhead at the top of the hill. Wayne Goeken will lead the hike, with proper social distancing, to an area with abundant pasque flowers in bloom. Hike is about 1.4 miles and includes some uneven terrain and a stretch of hiking through a sandhill area. For more information, contact Goeken at (218) 280-0516.

  • April 9: Virtual raffle drawings, 7 p.m., North Red River Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. Raffle drawing will stream live on the chapter’s Facebook page and will be conducted at the Lancaster (Minn.) Community Center. More than $7,500 in prizes, including a Minnesota lifetime deer hunting license, and winners will be notified by phone.
