Feb. 27: Northwest Angle Edge Riders 20th Anniversary Snow Rally, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunset Lodge on Oak Island of Lake of the Woods in Minnesota’s Northwest Angle. Rally trail ride set for 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 (meet at Sunset Lodge). Saturday, Feb. 27, events include a floor raffle, door prizes, radar run, lunch, “Goose Bump Jump,” 50/50 raffle and more. Feb. 6: Larimore Ice Fishing Tournament, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Larimore Dam Recreation Area near Larimore, N.D. Must have a ticket, all fish will be registered on the ice, prizes for top three fish in the perch, northern pike, walleye, bass and crappie categories. Sponsored by American Legion Post 97. Tickets, $10, available at Willy’s Bar in Larimore and at the dam the day of the tournament; ticket includes raffle entry. Fishing and raffle prizes will be announced at 3 p.m. either at Willy’s Bar or live via Facebook, depending on state COVID-19 public health recommendations; need not be present to win raffle prizes.
Feb. 20: Fishing derby, noon to 3 p.m., Springsteel Resort, Muskeg Bay of Lake of the Woods north of Warroad, Minn. Cash prizes for top four largest walleye, northern pike and perch, along with a $200 prize for largest eelpout. More than 50 raffle prizes, including a 219 Glacier fish house/toy hauler as grand prize. Tickets $20; springsteelresort.net.
