Construction on U.S. Highway 2 between Devils Lake and Churchs Ferry, N.D., starts today, the state Department of Transportation said.
This means the speed limit will drop to 60 mph and there will be a width restriction of 11 feet.
Workers will resurface the roadway, add rumble strips and paint new markings on westbound lanes and parts of the east bound lanes. The project is expected to be done in late October.
