Closures in northeast North Dakota for the eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 81 and State Highways 5 and 59 will begin Monday.

Each project will work on chip seal and pavement markings.

Work on US Highway 81 near Hamilton, N.D., will begin at Highway 5 and end at Interstate 29.

Construction on Highway 5 will begin at I-29 and will end at the Red River.
Work on Highway 59 near Pembina, N.D., will begin at I-29 and end at the Red River.

Lane closures, speed reductions and width restriction of 12 feet will be in place in construction zones until mid-June.
