UND had Wisconsin on the ropes.
But the Badgers responded with a two-goal, 45-second flurry late in the third period and then hung on for a 3-2 women's Western Collegiate Hockey Association win Saturday afternoon in Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Wisconsin received goals from Jasmine Giles at 16 minutes, 40 seconds and Erika Lawler at 17:25 in the final period for a 3-1 lead.
With the goalie pulled for an extra attacker, UND's Melissa Jaques scored with 12 seconds left in regulation for the final margin.
Wisconsin is ranked seventh in the country.

The Sioux led 1-0, as Randi Motsko scored on assists from Jaques and Kelly Lewis at 5:14 of the second period. Wisconsin tied it just 28 seconds later on a goal by Hilary Knight.
UND goalie Brittany Kirkham was solid. Wisconsin had a 40-14 edge in shots on goal.
Kirkham finished with 37 saves, compared to 12 for Minnesota's Jessie Vetter.
Both teams had solid penalty killing, as the Sioux were 0-6 and the Badgers were 0-7 with an extra player.
Wisconsin improved to 11-6-2 overall and 7-4-2 in the WCHA, while the Sioux dropped to 3-12-4 and 3-8-2.
The teams play at 2:07 p.m. today in Ralph Englestad Arena.
