Women's grassroots organizing day to be held in March at state capitol

Women who want to learn more about grassroots organizing, advocacy and the North Dakota legislative process can take part in "We Rise: Women Empowered," a lobby day for women, March 14 at State Capitol in Bismarck.

Women who want to learn more about grassroots organizing, advocacy and the North Dakota legislative process can take part in "We Rise: Women Empowered," a lobby day for women, March 14 at State Capitol in Bismarck.

Sponsored by the North Dakota Women's Network, the event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 14. Free transportation will be provided to Bismarck from Minot, Grand Forks and Fargo.

The Women's Network also will sponsor a grassroots organizing and advocacy training session from 1 to 5 p.m. March 13 at the Doublewood Inn in Bismarck. All activities are free.
