A Grand Forks woman was treated and released at the hospital and cited for a traffic violation following a rollover accident at 4 a.m. Saturday.
Jessica Walker, 18, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 in Grand Forks at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her vehicle, police said. The Buick four-door then struck the curb on the southeast corner of the intersection, causing the vehicle to roll one-and-a-half times, coming to rest on its roof.
Walker was cited for reckless driving. She was treated at Altru hospital for minor injuries. Grand Forks County sheriff's deputies assisted at the scene and the accident is still under investigation.
