A Grand Forks woman pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges alleging she threw a knife at another woman.
Susie Rebecca Frederikson, 56, was sentenced to serve 100 hours of community service instead of 10 days behind bars. She will also spend 18 months on probation.
Court documents allege Frederikson began yelling obscenities at another woman on June 7 around 4:45 p.m. when she returned home. The woman went into another room with a man and Frederikson allegedly tried to force the door open. She allegedly pointed the knife at the man and then threw it at the woman, an affidavit for her arrest said.
As part of a plea agreement, misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct were dropped. Frederikson could have faced up to five years in prison for the felony terrorizing charge.
