MILACA, Minn. -- A 42-year-old Pease woman was killed in a two-vehicle broadside crash reported at 7:14 a.m. Thursday on Highway 169 and 80th Street, south of Milaca in Mille Lacs County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
The woman was identified as Rolina R. Karsten.
The state patrol said Karsten was driving a Toyota Corolla eastbound on 80th Street, when she failed to yield and collided with a Ford Explore southbound on Highway 169.
The driver of the Explorer was Nanette M. Minarich, 49, Foreston, who suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital in Princeton.

There was a passenger in the Corolla: Maria L. Puffer, 46, Oak Park, who has serious injuries and was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
