A Fessenden, N.D., woman was treated and released from Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake after her vehicle rolled into a ditch four miles south of Devils Lake on Saturday evening.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Jenna Feakes, 21, swerved to miss a deer while traveling south on State Highway 20 at about 5:30 p.m. The 1995 Chevrolet rolled into the west ditch and came to rest on its roof facing north.
Feakes was wearing a seat belt. She was taken to Mercy by Lake Region Ambulance. Mercy Hospital is not releasing information on the extent of her injuries.
The accident report said the vehicle was totaled and Feakes was cited for care required in operation of a motor vehicle.
Devils Lake Rural Fire and the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department also responded to the accident.
