A Red Lake Falls, Minn., woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at about 3:20 p.m. Thursday near St. Hilaire, Minn.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that John Killian, 35, Angus, Minn., was driving a 2004 Olds Silhouette northbound on Pennington Avenue when a 2003 Buick Rendezvous operated by Marie Seeger, 93, crossed the centerline of the two-lane road. The Olds then swerved into the southbound lane to avoid the accident, while the Buick also swerved back into the southbound lane.
The vehicles collided head-on along 140th Street Northeast, near Thief River Falls Regional Airport, according to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, which assisted on the call.
Both drivers were transported to Sanford Health-Thief River Falls, where Seeger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Killian suffered no apparent injuries, according to the report.
