PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. - A 77-year-old Parkers Prairie woman has died after a head-on crash just south of Parkers Prairie on Wednesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol on Wednesday initially described Lucille Vogt's injuries as non-life threatening, but a news release updated at 8:25 a.m. today lists her as deceased.

Vogt was taken to Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria after the crash, which occurred about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The patrol said 18-year-old Kayla Carry of Browerville was driving a 1998 Cavalier south on Highway 29 when she crossed the center line and collided with a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Vogt.

The Life Link III air ambulance was called to the scene and transported Carry. Her condition at St. Cloud Hospital was listed as critical in the updated State Patrol accident report.
