Woman accused of hitting another woman over the head with a wine glass

FARGO - A Fargo woman is accused of hitting another woman in the head with a wine glass early today in an alleged assault over a mutual male friend of theirs, police said.

Police responded to the incident at 12:10 a.m. at 2614 Pacific Drive S. in Fargo.

The victim, a 37-year-old Fargo woman, was found bleeding from the head.

She told police she answered a knock on her apartment door and the suspect struck her in the head several times with a green wine glass, causing a cut on the top of her head, Fargo Police Sgt. Mark Lykken said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Innovis Health.

Police arrested 35-year-old Angela Marie Randall of Fargo on suspicion of aggravated assault.
