FARGO - A West Fargo woman faces felony charges after being accused of breaking into her ex-boyfriend's home, stealing his dog, then kicking him in the testicles when he tried to stop her.
Kelly Michelle Murek, 35, was charged Thursday in Cass County District Court with one count of Class C felony burglary.
Fargo police officers responded to a call July 6 about a burglary at 2013 Seventh Ave. N., where Steven Jacobson told police his ex-girlfriend, Murek, with whom he'd broken up in October, showed up earlier and forced her way in.
Jacobson told police Murek demanded he give her Luna Blue, the dog, court documents state, and when he refused, she started chasing the dog around the home.
He said he tried to stop her, but she kicked him in the testicles, seized the dog and ran.

Murek refused to return Luna Blue, court documents state, and told Jacobson that officers would just have to file charges against her.
Neither Murek nor Jacobson could be reached for comment.
