Strong gusty northwest winds will continue this morning in eastern North Dakota and move into western Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service. Winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph can be expected. Winds will diminish this afternoon as the low pressure exists the region.

The winds are the result of a strong low pressure system that will continue to intensify as it moves across eastern North Dakota and into northwest Minnesota today.
