Another weekend, another snowstorm.
To those who consider snow to be a four-letter word, the news is not good.
The National Weather Service says an upper level system over northern Manitoba will move south across the Red River Valley and northwest Minnesota, bringing another 3 to 5 inches of snow.
"The snow will come in two waves, much like last weekend's system did," said Jim Kaiser, a meteorologist at the weather service office in Grand Forks. "There'll be some light snow tonight, a break Friday, then snow will develop again around noon Saturday and last through Sunday morning."
Kaiser said the snow should be dry. Temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach into the teens, but winds will be light out of the north, before they kick up to 20 miles an hour early Sunday.
