Showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the week, thought today's storms are not expected to be severe. Brief heavy rain is possible, though, the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks says.
The best chance of severe weather this week will be late Wednesday night through Thursday, ahead of a cold front.
