A freeze warning will be in effect throughout North Dakota, and parts of Minnesota and South Dakota from 10 tonight to to 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to reach their lowest in the mid to upper 20s by sunrise, which could kill sensitive plants that aren't covered, the agency said.
The high Thursday will be in the 48 to 53 degrees range gradually warming up over the next few days to highs of 64 to 69 degrees on Sunday.
