A fire hydrant near South 20th Street and 13th Avenue South spewed water Thursday afternoon, but Public Works officials say problems were limited.

Mark Skow, of the water service, said there was a small water leak on a home, so Public Works shut down the water main on the home and drained excess water from the hydrant. Skow said there would be minimal mess and traffic would not be impacted.
