BAUDETTE, Minn.-A Warroad, Minn., man who was pulled from the Rapid River near Clementson Rapids has died.
Dispatchers received a call at 5:08 p.m. Friday of an individual in the river. Baudette Fire and Rescue pulled Inpong Douangmala, 64, from the water. He was taken to the CHI LakeWood Health Center in Baudette, where he was pronounced dead.
Douangmala will be taken to the UND Forensic Pathology Center for an autopsy, but no foul play is suspected, according to a news release for the Lake of the Woods Sheriff's Office. No further information, including how Douangmala came to be in the river, was available as of Friday evening.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Sheriff's Office, Baudette Police Department and Lake of the Woods Ambulance also responded to the incident.

The Clementson Rapids is about 10 miles east of Baudette.
