A Warroad, Minn., man and his daughter escaped serious injury after he fell asleep at the wheel Wednesday morning on an icy Roseau County road, the Minnesota Highway Patrol said.

Scott Tuura, 31, and his 11-month-old daughter, Hannah, were driving west on state Highway 11 just after 10 a.m. The 2001 Hyundai went off the left side of the road and went airborne over a crossing about three miles east of Greenbush, Minn., the patrol said.
