The Warroad (Minn.) Seventh Day Adventist Church, 216 Minnesota Ave. N.E., will hold a public open house 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 3.

The event is an opportunity for the community to meet Pastor Walter James and church members. James was assigned to Warroad this summer by the Minnesota conference of Seventh Day Adventists. He had been pastoring the Baudette (Minn.) Seventh Day Adventist church for more than a year.

Light refreshments will be served, and information pamphlets will be available outlining who Seventh Day Adventists are, what they believe and what their mission and goals are.
