WARREN, Minn.-A Wahpeton, N.D., man has been accused of having sex with a sleeping, intoxicated woman in northwest Minnesota.
Christopher James Kucera, 22, appeared Tuesday in Marshall County District Court on a fifth-degree gross misdemeanor charge of criminal sexual conduct. The charge carries a maximum sentence of a year in jail and a $3,000 fine.
Court documents say Kucera "had sexual contact" on Nov. 27, 2016, in Grygla, Minn., with a woman who was intoxicated and sleeping.
Grygla is a Marshall County town about 40 miles northeast of Thief River Falls.
Court documents indicate Kucera's address near Wahpeton.
