The YouTube video is titled "What Minnesotans do during the flood."
It shows Carsten Thomas, 18, riding the flood waters on the family farm north of Moorhead while being towed by a pickup truck.
Noreen Thomas, his mother, captured the adventure on video.
She's says her son wasn't playing hooky from school when the video was shot. He just can't get there right now because their farm is flooded in.
